CREATING GAMES
Ever since I got access to the Internet back in 1995 I have been interested in webdesign. To me webdesign has always been about two things: UI design and programming. Now while most of my designs have typically lacked some fluidity and softness to them, I have always tried to make them look nice and balanced. Also, the user interface has to make sense. In the beginning all you really had to work with was HTML and it was quite difficult to build dynamic and progressive sites. Since then, a lot of things have changed.
When writing the code for my websites I've always done so manually because I like having absolute control and it is important for me to understand how everything works. For the longest time I did all my coding in Notepad++, then in Brackets, and now I use Visual Studio Code. Syntax highlightning makes the code so much easier to read. I eventually started playing around with PHP and CSS in order to create more dynamic websites.
Probably some time around 2010 I started playing around with creating games of my own. My projects would range between anything from graphical point-and-click adventure games to text-based roleplaying games, but I never really finished a project before moving on to the next. For these types of games I can recommend Adventure Game Studio and Twine. However, I have since moved on to using Godot. It is definately the game engine I have been waiting for.

CELESTIAL FRONTIERS: PRIVATEER
Genre: Space Trading Arcade Roguelite
This is an ambitious project that I have been working on for the past five years using the Godot engine. Progress is slow, but constantly moving forward as I am learning more and more about the engine and its main language GDScript.
The game is a pixel-art space trading arcade roguelite with permadeath, randomness and procedural generation.
